Honduras

Roatan, Honduras. A little piece of paradise, right off the Honduran coast. This tiny island has become a major scuba diving destination and that's why we were here. I wish I could post a few Roatan dive-pix here but I can't : I had an underwater camera on this trip but for some reason all the dive-pix came out crappy. That was in the pre-digital age and you had to wait till you got home and developed the film before you knew if your pix came out or not. How primitive!

Roatan, Honduras. Coolest. School bus. Ever. What a great way to get to & from school every day. Unless it's raining / too windy / high surf / etc. Not sure what the guy in the back is doing - looking out for sharks or rouge waves or big rocks maybe?

Roatan, Honduras. We met this couple while diving and they liked Roatan so much they decided to buy a chunk of it. So they invited us over after the closing to walk "their" new beach with them. Exciting (for them) but kinda sad (for the island) at the same time.. At the rate they're selling this place off it'll look like south Florida in no time.
